 GOOD NEWS from Proverbs 17: 22

A joyful, cheerful heart brings good healing to both body and soul like a good MEDICINE; it heals a broken spirit whose heart is crushed with struggles, sickness, and depression and whatever else makes one sick.

MEDICINE FOR THE HEART

Dear Heavenly Father and Merciful God, 

Thank You for seeing to the MEDICAL state of my heart in every season, through every trial and triumph and loving me just the same.

In times of joy and celebration, there seems to be so much of Your MEDICINE for which to be thankful. 

In other times, it is harder to find obvious things for which to be thankful.

In the midst of heartache and heartbreak, Your Love MEDICINE is as Omnipresent as it ever was.

I find Your Goodness MEDICINES in the little things of life, like children's laughter, a genuine smile, Your fresh clean air in my lungs, and Your heartbeats in my chest.

I know when I look for clues that You are still with me, I will find them.

Lord, be my close and everpresent comfort be my healing balm, be all the MEDICINE I need.

I trust that You will lift the crushing weights in my life so I can freely breathe in Your MEDICINE again.

Bring Your healing MEDICINE all the way down in my soul as You lighten the loads on my shoulders, and help me stand up.

Thank You for lifting me up in Your Love as You pour Your MEDICINAL oil of Mercy all over my life!

Thank You for healing my body and my soul with Your MEDICINAL Mercy!

We look forward to the joys in heaven which we have yet to see. The joys to come will last forever.
