 GOOD NEWS from 1John 2: 17

And this world and its desires are fading away, and all worldly things are going with it; whoever keeps doing the will of God will live and LAST forever.

LASTING APPEAL

Dear Heavenly Father God, Ultimate and LASTING Source of Peace, Hope, and Joy,

Thank You for letting me know that I have everything I need to LAST me for this life and for EVERLASTING life.

You see me in my pursuits of worldly things, in my questioning of Heavenly things, and in the areas where I feel stuck.

Though I change my mind, sometimes daily, You remain constant as the Sun and the Ocean tides. Instead of rising and setting, or rising and falling, You are Consistent in Compassion and Reliable in Mercy. 

When everything else goes away, here You remain with an abundance of Your LASTING Affection. 

LORD, keep my heart set on You, my first, my LAST, my everything.

Even in the midst of temporary disappointments and heartbreak, You are the Only One I can rely on to LAST my whole life through.

I can depend on You.

You are successful in Your Goodness and  constant in Your LASTING Faitfulness.

Thank You for always being a firm and LASTING foundation I can stand on!
