LASTS April 21

 GOOD NEWS from 1Peter 1: 24-25

Yes, our natural earthly lives will LAST as long as grass does when it becomes all brown and dry. All our earthly greatness LASTS like a flower that droops and falls; all grass withers and all flowers fade but all Words of the Lord LAST forever. And His Message is the Good News that was preached to you.

SOMETHING THAT LASTS

Dear Heavenly Father God and Constant One,

Thank You for remaining The Same EVERLASTING God in Glory and in Light when everything else is fading.

Your Goodness LASTS unto infinity.

Your Kindness is everflowing. 

Loss brings our awareness to the limited scope of our earthly existence which is OUTLASTED by eternity.

There is immense gladness in the beginning of new things.

You continually blossom and grow and promise us eternal life beyond earth - an opportunity for us to experience Your Beauty beyond measure that LASTS and LASTS Forever.

My heart takes hope in Your Word. 

Separation pains me and the sting of death is real.

Today, redirect my gaze toward Your Infinite Love that leads me to EVERLASTING life.

Today, give me another glimpse of what will remain the same and LAST forever. 

Thank You for the three things that LAST -faith, hope, and love and for being so much better than I could ever imagine and for being the more for which my heart still longs.
