GOOD NEWS from Psalm 13: 2

HOW LONG before I can come out and reveal bliss, cheer, and joy in my heart? HOW LONG before me and my dear ones have the upper hand and win?

HOW LONG?

Dear Heavenly Father God of Restorations,

Thank You for allowing me to set my hope on You again today and anticipate Your Goodness in my life.

Thankfully, Your love is independent of my expectations.

What a relief! 

You carry me LONG WAYS on Your Strength alone. 

You are always faithfully meeting me with the Comfort of Your Presence while I am overwhelmed by LONG grief seasons.

Lord, draw even nearer to me today and empower me with Your Grace.

I know that grief may last far LONGER than I would wish, but I am still here.

This reality gives way eventually.

Help me to see You in the midst of this and to lean on You as I allow myself to feel the feelings that accompany grief, regardless of HOW LONG it takes.

I trust that You will breathe on me Oh Breath of God. 

Thank You for saturating me with Your LONG STANDING Compassion.
