WORN October 31

GOOD NEWS from Psalm 31: 9 

O Lord, have Mercy on me. In my anguish I am in misery. My eyes are WORN, weak, and red from weeping with so much crying; my health is broken from sorrow and my whole being is tired and WORN DOWN from pining away with grief; my years are shortened and  drained away because of sadness. My sins have sapped my strength; I stoop from being WORN DOWN with sorrow and with shame.

WORN DOWN 

Dear Heavenly Father God and Compassionate One,

Thank You for surrounding me with the Grace of Your Presence, including times when my soul needs lifting up from being WORN DOWN and crushed by grief, and sorrow is the only emotion I feel.

Comfort me with Your Kindness and lift me up with Your Mercy.

Give me reprieve and LIFT ME UP from this weight and into Your JOY.

I know that You Hear me whenever I call out to You, and I know You will hasten to my aid.

Meet me with exactly what I need today, JOY!

Give me Your Grace and be The Strength that sustains me until JOY comes.

You help lift up the weights that are WEARING me DOWN as You sit with me and let me lean on You and Your Love and Your Joy as I do today and everyday.

Your Presence lifts me up and lightens my load.

Come closer Lord.

Thank You for Your Constant Presence that is always here with me and always carrying me into JOY.

GOOD NEWS from 2Corinthians 4: 18 So we focus our ATTENTION on what we can see right now, the joys and miracles all around us, and what is yet to be seen. We look forward to the joys in heaven which we have yet to see. The joys to come will last forever. All of that has gone forever because they are forever FREE and forever mine!
