TEST IT OUT October 23

GOOD NEWS from 1 John 4: 1

4 Dearly loved friends, don’t always believe everything you hear just because someone says it is a message from God: TEST it first to see if it really is. For there are many false teachers around, 2 and the way to find out if their message is from the Holy Spirit is to TEST IT OUT by asking: Does it really agree that Jesus Christ, God’s Son, actually became man with a human body and actually did this? If so, then the message passes the TEST and is from God.

TEST IT OUT

Dear Heavenly Father and Great God,

Thank You for BEING Higher than the highest heights and yet present in the lowest details of my life!

Your Spirit is with me in Wisdom, guiding me to TEST OUT things according to Your Words.

May I be quick to TEST OUT and follow a line of thinking that is proven to be aligned with Your Character.

As I TEST OUT and measure a fruit of Your Word,  I will be able to sift the life giving nuggets from those.

God I am grateful to know the true TEST of Your Nature is that You ALWAYS remain the same.

As I look to the life of Jesus I see how often the Pharisees mistook the law as a religious rulebook rather than as a TESTAMENT and  indicator of Your Consistent Nature.

Thank You for helping me TEST OUT  what is behind different movements presented in my life, and only align with the ones that reflect Your Nature rather than my pride!

JC: As you turn your attention to Me, feel the Light of My Presence shining upon you, opening your mind and heart to receive My Heavenly Smile of approval, letting My Gold-Tinged Love wash over you and soak into the depths of your being as you are increasingly filled with My Being. TEST IT OUT and experience joyous union with Me: I in you, and you in Me. Your Joy-in-Me and My Joy-in-you become intertwined and inseparable.

I suffuse your soul with Joy in My Presence; at My Right Hand there are pleasures forevermore.

My Papa God, in my weakness I stir up anf TEST OUT my faith with Your WORD that You can move mountains in my life and in the lives of those around me (Mark 11:23).

You are the Mountain Mover! You cause the giants to fall before me! I confess that everything, little or big, is possible with You (Luke 1:37)! I Declare, You breathe on me afresh today and I thank You for delivering me from the evil one. Thank You for ALL that You are, ALL You've done and are going to do. My Papa God, above ALL else today I'm longing to "know You better today (Phil 3:10; John 17:3)!

"As the deer pants for streams of water, so I long for You, O God!"

MEDITATION

TESTIMONY:  What is a measure I use in order to TEST whether a Word is from God?

Alignment with Scripture: God will never contradict His written Word!

Character of God: The message must reflect the true nature of God revealed in the Bible—loving, just, holy, and consistent.

• The Fruit It Produces: Jesus taught that people and messages are known by their fruit (Matthew 7:16). A true message from God produces the fruit of the Spirit—such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22–23). Conversely, messages that generate ongoing confusion, paralyzing fear, pride, or unhealthy emotional turmoil do not originate from God.

• Exalting Christ over Self: A genuine move of the Spirit points people toward Jesus Christ and glorifies God rather than drawing excessive attention, financial control, or personal power to a human messenger or "prophet".

• Inner Witness and Peace: While feelings can sometimes be deceptive or driven by wishful thinking, a genuine message from God generally brings a deep, steady sense of divine clarity or righteous conviction rather than double-minded chaos.

• Wise Counsel (Community): Personal blind spots, emotional bias, or deep desires can easily masquerade as divine direction. Submitting the message to mature, grounded believers, pastors, or trusted Christian friends provides objective accountability (Proverbs 11:14).

• Time and Fulfillment: If a message contains a specific prediction or future direction, it must stand the test of time and come to pass accurately without contradicting established truth (Deuteronomy 18:21–
