GOOD NEWS from Job2: 13

Then they sat upon the ground with Job, SILENTLY SUPPORTING him for seven days and seven nights, everyone being SILENT and no one speaking a word to him; for they saw how his suffering was too great for words.

SILENT SUPPORT 

Dear Heavenly Father God and Comforter,

Thank You for seeing me and SUPPORTING me in all the cycles I am going through with my grief!

It seems like some days, I am just fine, and other days I can barely function in the feelings that SILENTLY overtake my being.

I know that You are with me, SUPPORTING me, because You woke me up and because You declared, I AM WITH YOU, at least 214 times in The Bible.

Be here now, closer than my blanket comforters, and help me get out of bed in the morning.

When I am overcome by the cleansing waves  that cut through every emotional reserve I have stored up, surround me with Your Comfort and SUPPORT,  and then bind us together with Your Love.

I am so grateful that You require me to be just as I am. 

Help me to remember that happiness is being overcome by Your Presence, Lord, by Your Comfort, by Your SUPPORT, and by Your Compassion.

What a wonderful example of SILENT SUPPORT and Comfort You give to me.

As I watch others go through the heaviness of grief, help me extend Your Reach to them by offering the same comfort, compassion, and the SILENT SUPPORT of my presence, absent the requirement that they do anything in return.

I lean into Your Grace and Mercy again today.

Thank You for making me know You are ALWAYS Loving and SUPPORTING me!
