HUMBLE HEART September 24

GOOD NEWS from John 13: 5

So He got up from the supper table, took off His Robe, wrapped a towel around His Loins, poured water into a basin, and with a HUMBLE HEART He began to wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel He had around Him, with which He was gilded.

HUMBLE HEART

Dear Heavenly Father God and Beautiful Lord,

Thank You for walking this earth with a HUMBLE HEART, and for revealing the tender HEART of Our Father so clearly.

Though You were a King. You laid down Your Crown and became like a HUMBLE HEARTED Servant to ALL humankind.

I have yet to conceive that our Creator of the universe and Creator of everything within it, would HUMBLE HIS HEART, and go incognito, clothed in flesh and bones like mine.

While the Israelites were waiting on a warrior king to rescue them from earthly governments, You came as a HUMBLE HEART AND CONTRITE Savior, like a lamb.

Father, when I begin to think I deserve more than what I am walking through, redirect my gaze to The HUMBLE HEART and Life of Jesus. 

Though He was Perfect in a fallen world, His HUMBLE HEART took the loving-kindness route everytime. 

LOVE IS COSTLY.

Choosing to HUMBLE my HEART before You and others is a costly act of faith.

Thank You for helping me choose You and Your Loving Ways E.V.E.R.Y.D.A.Y!

My heart goes out to you--it's so hard to watch your family in this kind of struggle. I am praying that God brings His Peace where there's strain, His Provision where there is lack, and His Wisdom for you to know when to step in,  when to bow out, and when to rest in His Hands.

Sometimes the greatest strength is letting go and letting God do what only He can do. He sees your children, your grandchildren and your mama's heart, and He is Faithful. I know Him to be a Way Maker,  Miracle Worker, Promise Keepwe, Light In The Darkness--and He WILL open doors where there seem to be none.

Philippines 4:19 "And my God WILL supply every need of yours according to His Riches in Glory in Christ Jesus."

Isaiah 58:11 "And the Lord WILL guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters continuously flow."

I'm standing on His Word with you--it's not always easy, but it is necessary to use our faith--leaning on His Promises, trusting His Timing, and walking in His Ways.

God is Jehovah Sali--The Lord your Strength. satan wants to steal your joy, so he can steal your strength. Don't let him still your joy. If you are facing a battle, you are not facing it alone. You don't have to fight it with your own strength. God is here and He is your Strength.

God is your Place of Shelter, so do not be overwhelmed when it seems like the enemy is surrounding you.

Put on praise music and worship God when you are in the storm. In a battle, Praising God breaks the power of the enemy. God's Word is health and healing to you. Don't allow the enemy to steal your joy and the time of refreshing that comes from spending time with God.

Cast your cares on God because He Cares for you.

God is your Ever-present Help in times of trouble. He is your Strength and Peace. He is your Protector.

God doesn't need your help. He just needs your faith.

My Father God, You see SC's heart laid bare before You. In Your Mercy, wrap her in Your Peace that far surpasses all her understanding. Hold her dad and her son in Your Healing Hands --let the medicine work, guide the doctors with wisdom, and protect them from harm. Where fear tries to overwhelm, let Your Love be greater. You are her Strength when she feels like falling apart, and You are Faithful to carry her through these days. Surround this family with Your Presence, Lord, and remind them You are ALWAYS here and You are ALWAYS Victorious. In Jesus' Mighty Name, AMEN and AMEN!

Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not, for I AM with you; be not dismayed, for I AM your God; I WILL strengthen you, I WILL help you, I WILL uphold you with My Righteous Right Hand."

Fear is a liar and has no place here. By His Nailed-Scarred Hands, SC's family is covered in God's Mercy and His Strength!

When I don't get what I want, I get angry or depressed rather than loving.
