THY WAY August 26

GOOD NEWS from Mark 14: 35 - 36

He went on a little farther and fell to the ground and prayed that if it were possible the awful hour awaiting Him might pass Him by and never come His WAY again. “Abba Father, Father,” He said, “Everything is possible for YOU. Remove and take away this bitter cup from Me. Yet I want Thy Will and THY WAY rather than Mine.”

THY WAY

Dear Heavenly Father God and Jesus, His Son,

Thank You for experiencing the reality of the spectrum of emotions we also face while making our WAY through this life; I am so grateful to know that You did!

In subjecting Your self to THY WAY of the limiting human experience, You felt both exhilaration and desperation and everything in between. 

In some WAY, You came face to face with everything I face.

You felt gain and You felt loss; You felt the joy of laughter with true friends, and the pangs of sorrow with bitter enemies for what was yet to come THY WAY.

In the Garden of Gethsemane, You earnestly pled with Our Father to allow Your Life to be spared, yet at the end of Your Prayer, You perfectly submitted THY Will and THY WAY to His Will and His WAY.

Lord, When I struggle through facing what comes my WAY,  my desperate heart cries out to You to spare our lives THY WAY.

Help my heart to ALWAYS end up where Yours did; PERFECT SUBMISSION trusting God our Heavenly Father to have His WAY.

Thank You for all the understanding You have,  based on Your actual experience of walking THY WAY through life on this earth; I humbly invite You into mine.

Thank You for helping me find comfort in solidarity with You as I get on THY WAY today! 

JC:Trust Me in the midst of a messy day. Your inner calm--your Peace in My Presence--need to be QUIETED by whatever is going on around you. Seek My Face, and I will share My MIND with you, opening your eyes to see things from My Perspective. Let your heart be peaceful, and do be brave and steadfast. The Peace I give is sufficient for you.

Some days are just MESSY. Things don't go as planned, people disappoint, circumstances pile up, and suddenly we are tempted to grab the steering wheel and try to control it all. But Jesus says: TRUST ME. I don't need to have a calm day to have a peaceful heart. My peace isn't determined by what's happening around me--it's anchored in the One who lives within me. So today, I will stop fighting to control what only God can handle. I will seek His face, listen for His perspective, and let His peace rise above the noise. The mess may be around me, but it doesn't have to get inside me.

I REFUSE TO LET A MESSY DAY STEAL A PEACEFUL HEART! JESUS HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD--and His peace is mine. We don't need to get the mess under control before we have peace. We need to get our hearts under the authority of Jesus.🔥❤️
