WAY August 26

GOOD NEWS from Mark 14: 35 - 36

He went on a little farther and fell to the ground and prayed that if it were possible the awful hour awaiting Him might pass Him by and never come His WAY again. “Abba Father, Father,” He said, “Everything is possible for YOU. Remove and take away this bitter cup from Me. Yet I want Your Will and Your WAY rather than Mine.”

THY WAY

Dear Heavenly Father God and Jesus, His Son,

Thank You for experiencing the reality of the spectrum of emotions we also face while making our WAY through this life; I am so grateful to know that You did!

In subjecting Your self to the WAY of the limited human experience, You felt both exhilaration and desperation and everything in between. 

In some WAY, You came face to face with everything I face.

You felt gain and You felt loss; You felt the joy of laughter with true friends, and the pangs of sorrow with bitter enemies for what was yet to come.

In the Garden of Gethsemane, You earnestly pled with Our Father to allow Your Life to be spared, yet at the end of Your Prayer, You perfectly submitted Your Will and Your WAY to His.

Lord, When I struggle through facing what comes my WAY,  my desperate heart cries out to You.

Help my heart to ALWAYS end up where Yours did; PERFECT SUBMISSION trusting God our Heavenly Father to have His WAY.

Thank You for all the understanding You have,  based on Your actual experience of walking Your WAY through life on earth; I invite You into mine.

Thank You for helping me find comfort in solidarity with You as I get on Your WAY today!
