DEFENSE July 16

GOOD NEWS from Psalm 59: 16

As for me, I will sing aloud each morning about Your Power and Your Mercy. For you are my High Tower of Refuge, my DEFENSE, and my place of safety in the day I needed the Shelter of Your Arms!

Dear Heavenly Father God and DEFENDER, 

Thank You for receiving me when I run to my DEFENSE inside the safety found in Your Shelter. 

Your Presense is a shield of DEFENSE all around me.

You are fighting for me and DEFENDING me so I don't have to plead my own case.

Give my heart peace from needing DEFENSE while I am resting in You.

Calm my racing, rising thoughts and heart as I turn over the control of my circumstances to You again today, and leave it there.

I know that You are Omniscient with Infinite Wisdom and You always know what is best to do.

As I choose to trust You in my mind and with my lips, may my heart follow suit and find Respite and DEFENSE in Your Tender Care. 

Calm me with Your Reassuring Words of Wisdom, especially when I am tempted to take up my own cause and try to DEFEND myself/ego. 

Give me a clear glimpse of Your Broad Perspective when I get too caught up in DEFENDING the details of my life.

You Generously Give Wisdom to everyone who is searching for it. Even now, even me!

I will be satisfied and thankful in how You handle any and every situation as I allow Your Love to lead me.

Thank You for Your Mercy to which I can yield myself.

GOOD NEWS from 2Corinthians 4: 18 So we focus our ATTENTION on what we can see right now, the joys and miracles all around us, and what is yet to be seen. We look forward to the joys in heaven which we have yet to see. The joys to come will last forever. FOCUSED ATTENTION  Dear Heavenly Father God and Eternal One, Thank You for Being outside the boundaries of time, with infinity, and free of beginning and ending.
