DEFENSE July 16

GOOD NEWS from Psalm 59: 16

As for me, I will sing aloud each morning about Your Power and Your Mercy. For you are my High Tower of Refuge, MY ONE DEFENSE, and my place of safety in the day I need the Shelter of Your Arms!

JC:  Your only DEFENSE against self pity is to look up and see the Light of My Presence shining down on you. I will cover you with My Royal Robe of Righteousness and walk with you down the path of Life. 

MY DEFENSE

Dear Heavenly Father God and DEFENDER, 

Thank You for receiving me when I run to MY DEFENSE inside the safety found only in Your Shelter. 

Your Presense ALL around me is MY shield of DEFENSE.

You are fighting for me and DEFENDING me so I don't have to state, plead, nor justify my own case.

Give my heart peace from needing DEFENSE while I am resting in You.

Calm my racing, rising thoughts and heart as I turn over the control of my circumstances to You again today, and leave them there.

I know that You are Omniscient with Infinite Wisdom and You always know what is best to do and how best to DEFEND me*.

As I choose to trust You in my mind and with my lips, may my heart follow suit and find Respite and DEFENSE in Your Tender Care. 

Calm me with Your Reassuring Words of Wisdom, especially when I am tempted to take up my own cause and try to DEFEND myself/ego. 

Give me a clear glimpse of Your Broad Perspective when I get too caught up in DEFENDING the details of my life.

You Generously Give Wisdom to everyone who is searching for it. Even now, even me!

I will be satisfied and thankful in how You handle MY DEFENSE in any and every situation as I allow Your Love to lead me.

Thank You for Your Mercy to which I can yield myself.
