FORGIVENESS
Dear MERCIFUL FATHER,
Thank You for aligning my life with Your Heart of Love and FORGIVENESS!
As You have FORGIVEN me, may my heart also choose to pardon all those who have wronged and hurt me.
Because it is pressing on a wound from long ago, I realize that often the offense I feel is a hurt that has everything to do with me, rather than with the other person.
Help me to know when to FORGIVE and let go, and when to FORGIVE and reconcile.
I know that as I follow Your Example and Your Way, then I will find my way.
Holy Spirit, You are my help in FORGIVENESS and in all things.
I rely on You to lead me in love, understanding, and FORGIVENESS.
Would You show me the root of the offense, whenever my heart is struggling to hold onto it?
Would You Heal the heart wounds of my past and give me perspective to be able to let go of all resentment that eats away at my joy?
As I choose to follow You in this, I Thank You that I will find Your Freedom and Your Goodness awaiting me with Your Open and FORGIVING Arms!
